I work in another state and have not so great private insurance so getting dental care is difficult. I was able to get in Bright Now a couple months out, for new patient intake. I scheduled this and flew from the East Coast to finally see a dentist. I got an x-ray and check up and then they told me I have to schedule a cleaning separately. I flew 3000 miles for this appointment and wasn’t able to get a cleaning, just x-rays. The front desk was sympathetic when i explained my situation but one hygenist with poor customer service skills told me that she’s been doing this for 20 +years and this was “normal practice.” Another hygienist, Christina intervened and took me in the back and gave me a mini cleaning. negative 4 stars for the policy of a separate appointment for a cleaning and this troll hygienist- 5 stars for Susie and the amazing front desk and Christina. Christina single handedly kept me as a patient there. She deserves a raise. I was ready to never set foot in there again and just pay out of pocket for dental care. The unnamed troll who told me I was being entitled needs to be fired. She made this a 1 star review.

I'm leaving this review for my elderly mother (76) who chose to get dentures through "Brite Now Dental." We first went in and had her x-rays done with the technician and she was understanding and gentle. Next we discussed with the Dr about dentures or implants and the time involved with both. Both pros and cons about each process. Mom and I chose to go with dentures. The next process was extractions (mid June). Mom had deep infection in her bone and the healing process took awhile longer then we had expected. Now we are the beginning of November and Mom still hasn't had the prototype with teeth place in her mouth to have the final plates made. We paid to have the local maker do the work instead of having them sent back and forth from California. I mean what stage would we be in then? Maybe ? she would have her teeth! Maybe not. We will never know. I'll we know is at every visit we were led to believe we were one step closer and then the next visit we were told we were mistaken. Even the office manager was confused as to which stage we were in by looking at the charts. Anyway, they do great work, gentle and understanding. They listen and discuss with you the work you want and need done. The offer a dental plan for discount dental work for a pretty reasonable price. I myself, my husband, and my mother all use Bright Now Dental.

Scheduled my appointment for 10 AM today, 9/16/24. Arrived at 9:45 for paperwork. The email stated to arrive 15 minutes early “to help keep your appointment on time”. Waited over an hour total. Asked the front desk when I’ll be going back. She stated “ two appointments got bumped before me”. At no point was there an attempt to have me come in later. I was not told at check in that I would have a delay on my appointment time. The lack of communication is unacceptable. I now have to get another day off of work to get my dental issues fixed. I will not be recommending Bright Now to anyone. This was going to be my first appointment. First impression: TERRIBLE service, lack of communication, and total disregard of patients time wasted.

Dentist was rushed and dismissive of my concerns. X-ray technician seemed scatter-brained and impatient. They kept on saying that Wednesdays are too busy for their office, but for a $340 bill (without insurance), this experience was odd and poorly handled. Maybe avoid on Wednesdays? Receptionists were great though!

Staff and service were awesome. One downfall is wait time after coming out from visit to schedule next appointment. Customers in the lobby should have priority. Several people, myself included, waited a long time to schedule next appointment and no one was on the phone helping others. Overall, an hour and a half total with 30 min. in the lobby is not efficient. Again, wonderful staff though.
