Our entire family has seen Dr. Chyz for MANY years because he is simply the best. Meticulous, innovative and interested in long term oral health and preservation of teeth- no shortcuts. When he chose Dr. Lopez to succeed him, we were a little nervous about losing Dr. Chyz - BUT Dr. Lopez is continuing to provide that same level of excellence and thoughtful and detail oriented dentistry that we came to appreciate with Dr. Chyz. They are both professionals who keep striving to build skills and bring innovation to dentistry. If you value a long term approach to oral health and comfort this is the practice for you. The skillfulness along with Dr. Lopez' genuine care for patients makes this a standout dental practice. After a recent, somewhat lengthy procedure, he even called me to check in and see that all was well. It was, thanks to him.

I have gone to Dr Chyz for over 15 years. Dr Lopez took over and its seamless. Same great attention to detail, same excellent care, and overall great client care insuring a good set of choppers!!!

TLDR: HIGHLY RECOMMEND, worked proactively and saved my tooth. Informative, efficient, and comfortable. I saw Dr.Chyz for a crack in my tooth that was found during a cleaning. I will admit I was super scared I would be told my tooth would have to be extracted. Dr. Chyz took his time informing me about my condition, showing me photos of my tooth that I could not see myself. He was honest, realistic, and thorough. His numbing was top notch, it was honestly the best anesthetic experience I’ve ever had. He regularly checked in on me and two months later, my filling is still flawless. I didn’t need to come back to a bite adjustment or smoothing, it was done correctly the first time. Every step of my experience was professional and warm. Wendy at the front desk is warm and welcoming. Mason my assistant is friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly demonstrates pride in his profession. Dr. Chyz is skilled and worth every penny. Choosing a dentist is hard, and there are so many good ones. Go to Dr. Chyz if you like informative, and care about the all the little details. Also, ask him to show you his bobble head!

Agree with other reviewers, that Dr. Chyz is great. He quit working with Delta Dental quite a few years ago, when they would not let him work the way that he wants to, and were pushing for speed & shortcuts. If you do not have dental insurance, and are paying on your own, it may cost more to see him, and it's completely worth it. He is very thorough and careful, and conservative about watching things that do not need restoration right away. His hygienist, Nancy, is super-thorough and very gentle.

Best dentist ever! Dr. Chyz and his staff are friendly, thorough, and sincere in what they do. He takes his time to explain new technologies and methods he uses to prolong the life of the tooth and dental health. I always feel good going to his practice because he makes sure you understand the problem and the process.
