Very poor management and front desk is even worse!! I'm a patient with these guys and they never answer the phone, I have left messages and been trying to call for 3 weeks now and nothing they will not answer or return calls. I would rate them a 1 ⭐ but the reason I give them 2 ⭐ is that they took my insurance which most dentists don't and that's only reason. I will say the dentist was good. She pulled all my teeth and did awesome I really didn't feel nothing and it was FAST!!! The nurses are cool as well. It's literally just the lazy front staff/desk not doing there job
Some people hate going to the dentist. I actually am excited about my appointments. Dental Hygienist Lauren, did such a great job of making me feel comfortable and relaxed while she was working on my teeth. She explained what she was doing as she was doing it. She made sure that all of my questions were answered and helped give good advice. Everyone that works at Southside Dental is so friendly and helpful. Thank you.
Hands down, the best dental care around. So caring with quality care that I've nearly lost the "white coat syndrome" after enduring severe trauma with a broken jaw. If you're searching for a dentist with staff who cares, this is definitely the place to be!
April 1st, I had 4 fillings done. For 2 weeks following I have been in horrible pain. I can't eat, sleep or drink on the left side of my mouth. I went back and was told my bite was wrong and that I now had a fractured molar due to my bite being off. That I would most likely need the tooth removed. I was told this by an associate dentist since Dr. Reitmeyer was out of town. I was still in pain, so I went back AGAIN for them to fix the problem that should have been addressed in the first place. At this follow up appointment, I was told my molar was not fractured. They drilled into my tooth again and now told me I needed a root canal. This office should have addressed the problem in the first place instead of prolonging my pain. They have been giving me the run around on what's going on and what to do about it. They aren't helpful with problems. When I asked about getting a print-out of my records, the technician told me she couldn't release the clinical notes and all I got was an itemized receipt. I work in a medical office and know legally an office must release all records when requested by a patient to follow HIPPA guidelines. I would not recommend this office. It's not worth the pain or the time.
The staff was polite and helpful. We were new patients and impressed by the service, communication, and care. And of course, decorations. :)
