My husband had a dental appointment for a cleaning and check up. He was called and told him the co-payment was $100. I called my insurance and confirmed there was no copayment. She was definitely trying to get paid by the insurance and extra money from us. It appears this is a normal practice for her office.

They don't answer the phones Their schedule is weird but is their policy the horrible thing is they ask the first thing : “ what insurance do u have “?? Really? U r a doctor after all...payment plans exist... So if we carry hmo u don't like us? How about this : we contact the insurance and we ask for advocate rep to make the appts and correct your charging prices for HMO patients U charge us the moon and the sun, unknowingly that we are also educated ( RDA-EF) Take note folks ; Indian chick looking to make extra bucks! And when resolution from HMO will arrive, I'll post it here so the world can see what a trickster this office is! TBC….
