Better Dentistry

Recently moved to Raleigh and had been putting off finding a new dentist office since I never particularly liked going to the dentist (shocker), but kind of kicking myself in the leg for not coming here sooner. Entire staff was lovely, from the front office all the way up to Dr. Silvoy. Very helpful and took the time to explain the best practices, and why. It's the small things that make the difference and they add up to make a huge difference here. Somehow already looking forward to coming back in six months.

I grew up as a daughter of dentist surgeon. I know more than the average person about dental care. Not something to brag about, but I have been to a few dentists after my father was not here anymore and have had trouble finding someone that I can trust and actually cares. From the first day I have stepped foot into this office, I have found nothing but professionalism and skilled individuals. I simply can’t say how impressed and thankful I am to find Dr.Christopher Silvoy. Dr. Silvoy and his staff are caring and thoughtful. They went above and beyond to make my visit comfortable, and they took great care and pride to ensure I well taken care of before and after my visit as well as happy with my end result. Dr.Christopher Silvoy is very knowledgeable and put-together a great treatment plan that fits me. Never push to sell unnecessary service. Thank you, guys! I was referred to better dentistry by a friend of mine, who said they would drive 2 states to see Dr Silvoy. He was 5 min from my house, so I scheduled the appointment for a chipped tooth and cavity. They got me an appointment within five days. It was my first visit and they were AMAZING. I know that’s hard to believe about a dentist. But it is true. Everyone was great. Amber, one of the dental assistants was very personable. So was Charlene, Fred, Tonya, and Dr. Silvoy himself. This was your typical old school, doctor- patient experience. Not only did he tell me what he was going to do, but why he was going to do it, explained the game plan, and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. He is nothing like other dentist, who treat you like a paycheck, who you might see for 20min max.I truly feel he cares about your well-being. I can say myself, I would drive 300 miles to see this guy. I highly recommend him and his team to anyone, and everyone. I can’t wait to see him on my follow up appointment on the eighth.

Everyone was great! The hygienist made sure both my kids felt comfortable & Dr. Silvoy was very informative & gentle. I have had my wisdom teeth extracted here as well & Dr. Silvoy did an amazing job! Hardly any swelling or pain & he was very helpful in explaining after care. Definitely recommend.

''This was our first time and we had a super experience at Better Dentistry today. Everyone was friendly, engaged in their jobs and giving it their best! This is a group of people who seem to like what they do! The gal at the front desk (Robin, I believe) was sweet and engaged also. She didn't at all make me feel like an insurance card walking around in a body. Bravo, because I really dislike that! Dr. Silvoy is smart and friendly. He has good bed side manner and he didn't rush me. He listened to what I had to say about a somewhat unusual topic regarding my teeth moving and took what I had to say serious. We (son & me) had our teeth cleaned which we regularly do each six months. Let's just say that my last dentist did not have that device that Samantha used to clean my teeth which was absolutely incredible, she didn't have to pick and hurt me, and it was quickly done! I'm very surprised at now clean my teeth feel. I'm glad I followed a referral lead to come here.
