Baldwin Park Family Dentistry

Dr. Frank Cho has been my great dentist for over 20 years. All staff members are so kind all the time.

Dr. Cho and his staff overwhelmingly always supercede my expectations. I have been coming to this location and have been his patient since 2009. They're very professional, courteous, and make you feel at ease. I've recommended many friends and family members, and they haveexpressed the same sentiments.

Great dentist and crew, they are all polite and attentive. Their prices are very affordable. Been coming to this office for quite some time and service has been great! He has done wonders to my teeth.

Came in January to take out a wisdom tooth. I told Dr. Cho that the last dentist had problems taking out the bottom tooth and that it took him nearly 2 hours. He laughed and said "that's because he doesn't know what he's doing". So he proceeding to take over 2 hours and 30 minutes to take out my tooth. At one point in the middle, he tried calling a oral surgeon because he couldn't take it out, I figured he would have one ready prior to starting, just in case... he came in laughing again, saying that his oral surgeon was on vacation and that in his 20 years he never needed a oral surgeon n his life, because "he was the best". He then told me that I should just go home and look for a oral surgeon mysel first thing tomorrow morning by Google searching oral surgeons and "hopefully my insurance would cover it." I didn't want to go home with my mouth the way it was, I was in so much pain. So I told him to keep trying, not before his assistant scolded him like a child for ignoring my request to stop (raising my hand) when I was in pain. In total, it was about 2hrs and 45 minutes. He finally got my tooth out. By the time he finished it was around 5pm, the office was closed. The assistant looked at him and said "doctor, aren't you going to take out the fragments still inside?" Dr. Cho said it would be fine to leave some in there. As soon as I saw the assistant shake her head with disappointment, I knew I was going to have problems, to be honest I think he just wanted to go home, or not pay the assistants overtime. The following months, huge chunk after huge chunk of tooth fragments were trying to find there way out of my guns. I took out 4, with one still inside my gum. It's Dec now and I still have a hole in my gum that never fully closed. It's hard for me to drink anything cold and have to constantly clean the hole after I eat. He was the worst dentist I've ever had. The assistants were great, but I can't say the same about Cho. He was arrogant, unprepared, and lazy.

Ok first off whom ever wrote the bad review is an Idiot, Baldwin Park family dental or dentistry how ever you'd like to refer to it as is a very costumer oriented dentist office yes they might have changed owners but the RDA is still working their and is a very helpful and respectful young man the Secretaries their are also very nice thy will answer any question you have with a smile on their faces. They are helpful, nice and they are very well organized almost to organized to the point where you could think the workers have OCD. they clean up meticulously well before they open and after they close. And in between patients if they have the time. Not that this is a bad thing at all, it's a great thing. I used to love going to the dentist when i lived in calli now I have a crappy dentist and dread going to the dentists office. but since i just moved haven't really had time to search for a great dentist like Baldwin Park family dental. Of course this is just my personal opinion based on my own experience having Baldwin Park Family Dental as my Dentist office.
