The technicians and doctor were so kind and helpful with our daughter with special needs. She wasn’t feeling well at the appointment, and they were compassionate and did everything to make her experience more enjoyable. Wonderful people. Loved how helpful the front desk was too. We were feeling overwhelmed, and they were patient and friendly. Thank you!
I'm not a huge fan of the dentist. But unfortunately we all need them in our lives. Ive had a few bad experiences with dentists but Aspire Surgical made my visit more comfortable. They are a good group of people, which makes the environment and visit a lot better. I appreciate them and their services and I will definitely be going back there next time. Thank you all. You did an amazing job, from the secretary's, to the assistance/helpers, to the dentist
My son had surgery here October of 2023. We had multiple appointments prior to the surgery date, and at every appointment, including the day of surgery, they took a copy of our insurance card. They told us how much the insurance would not cover which we paid prior to the operation. Then August of 2024 we start getting letters in the mail telling us we owe nearly $2000 and they will start taking action against us. We called and spoke with them and found out they hadn’t billed any insurance yet and didn’t even have our insurance info on file. We gave them the info and they said they would bill them immediately. Jump to October 2024 and the threatening letters have resumed and a phone call to our insurance confirmed they still have not submitted any request for coverage. I wish I could say great things about this place because the surgery did seem to go well but this level of laziness or incompetence deserves to be the focus of our interaction.
UPDATE- I am changing my review from 2 stars to 1. If there was a 0 or a lower number it would not reflect the poor service of their billing department accurately. It is now September 12th, 2024, and my case is still not resolved. Cynthia who is the manager over this process, does not help at all. She does not follow through on her commitment to call back. She does not attempt to resolve the case, and if you happen to actually get her on the phone, she does not have access to anything in her system and blames the insurance company for overcharging the client, and she also cannot provide a timeline for when I will receive a refund. I have been advised that she is waiting for my insurance to process the payment to recalculate the correct amount, then the refund will be issued.However she did confirm that it was not even billed to my insurance until I did this review (date)and to what it seems to me forced to return my call because my previous calls were avoided. I have called, I have gone into the office, and even though the front desk goes back and speaks to the manager and I see this happening, I am advised that no one is available to speak to me (as I see them speaking to them in their office). I will now also be filling a complaint with the BBB as well, and if I do not have my refund within the next week, please expect the next communication to come from an attorney. I am writing this here since it seems to be the only way to get a response from this office. Again I want to clarify that the medical staff was great! It is the billing department that is affecting your business. You should re-evaluate whom you allow to associate within your organization, and your clients.This is not a great look. Reading through reviews, I am not the only one experiencing this. The Dr./Surgeon and medical staff was great, however, their billing and front desk lacks knowledge to say the least. I paid for my entire procedure up front,because that is what was requested/required ahead of my surgery (broken nose). I was quoted the amount based on their billing department apparently checking with my insurance ahead of time. My deductible, which I had already met ahead of this procedure, considering I was at the ER already with a broken nose the week prior, and insurance record shows the ER already billed my insurance the day prior to my surgery, I still had to pay almost $4,800 out of pocket to Aspire. That is was they advised me. Come to find out, this was incorrect on their end because they failed to check the insurance again prior to surgery. I have attempted to speak to their billing department to no avail, and cannot get anyone to assist with this billing dispute. They still have my money. Not to mention I have not received an actual bill from Aspire, only the receipt of payment from the day of my surgery, which is not completely itemized to show the entire procedure. My surgery took place on June 10th, and as of today August 16th, Aspire still has yet to actually bill the insurance to show I had this medical procedure done, and to show I paid for it in full already. They also bill their anesthesiologist as part of their service, and do not itemize it, which in turn does not cover it through insurance. I am pretty sure this is against the No Surprise Act law, and causes patients bills to be higher than expected.
I had a molar removed yesterday, per the recommendation of my dentist. Dr. Shamo went to great lengths to make sure my tooth really needed to be removed and the appointment then took an extra hour or so. I really appreciated his concern and how thorough he was. It showed that he really cared, even though they were very busy with patients that day. Aspire was able to find an appointment for me the next day, since I was in a lot of pain. Thank you.
The receptionists were courteous and efficient. I was quickly taken to the surgery room and cared for by two very kind and friendly nurses. The doctor was also very kind and friendly. They gave me assurance that helped make the experience so much better.
I had the best experience with Aspire Surgical. I had a tooth extracted and had minimal pain. I didn’t need pain medication the second day and the recovery process went very well. I would totally trust Aspire Surgical to do this again and highly recommend them to my family and friends!
