Customer Reviews
Dr Ray with Aspen Endodontics was absolutely amazing. I recently visited due to a severe infection in my tooth/gum which required a root canal. He explained thoroughly what was taking place and causing my pain. Due to the severity of my infection he was able to get me in right away. His knowledge, caring and understanding with what his patient (me) was undergoing was incredible. Dr Ray’s professionalism and approach put me immediately at ease and I knew I was in good hands. The staff at Aspen Endodontics are great, as soon as you walk in the door, you feel like you are in the right place. I HIGHLY Recommend Dr Ray with Aspen Endodontics!!!
Words cannot express how wonderful my experience at Aspen Endodontics was. Dr. Transtrum is THE best! I have never had such an easy dental treatment. Recovery also went so well! Grateful for Dr. Transtrum! He is kind and gentle and thoroughly explains the procedures. His staff is also very caring and friendly. Thank you for everything!
I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Aspen Endodontics. The front desk staff were very nice and understanding, Dr. Ray and his assistant were fantastic. The best care I've received by far, they made a root canal the best experience it could have been. And the most important part of all of this, the very day after my root canal I have basically no pain, when the day before was pure agony. 10/10 recommend. Big thank you to everyone at Aspen Endodontics!
This is a scammy business practice. Beware. They gave me estimates for my appointments without reaching out to my insurance at all, and the payments are due at check in. I paid 301$ for my first appointment upfront where Dr.Ray determined I needed a root canal. At the front desk, they did a work up of the cost for that procedure and told me 906$ and I double checked to make sure that included everything. They said yes, and I wrote it down on a business card and I told them I would get in touch to schedule when I was able to save enough money. I was peppered with automated texts telling me to schedule, but then I was sent a very passive aggressive text that said “Hey My name, Happy Tuesday! Would you like us to make a note that you're not interested in pursuing treatment? Otherwise we're happy to get something on the schedule for you. -Aspen Endodontics” So I had to again explain that I did want treatment, but I had to save money and that their text made me feel pressured and uncomfortable, but since I had already paid such a big fee for the consultation I felt stuck. I save the money and call to schedule. I went to our text thread the day of to grab the address, and I see a new estimate for 100$ more than the previous quote, which I hadn’t saved for. I went anyway hoping it was a mistake, but they said it was for nitrous that they didn’t include in the original work up even though I double checked it was for everything. I couldn’t pay it, so the front desk said they could do it for 906$ without nitrous. I said no thank you, I don’t think anyone wants a root canal raw I was in tears when I left, and a lady called me on my way home to try and convince me to turn around and drive back and also said she would double check everything for a new estimate with my insurance to make sure it was correct I later received a text and it went up again by about 30$ to 1,035$ It already felt off and I worried about it continuing to go up at their will, so I just hung tight and didn’t get it done yet Today, September 24th, I received an invoice for my first visit of almost 60$. They said insurance threw them a curveball and didn’t pay the amount they billed them. Since I thought they had coordinated with my insurance, I called my insurance company to see why they hadn’t paid the amount they said they would. Nobody had reached out to my insurance in any manner to try and see how much they would actually pay. They just guessed in house over and over and made my price go up for out of pocket upfront even after all of their “double checking” they did special for me. So that means months down the road I could have received an even bigger bill from the root canal if I had it done with them because they didn’t even actually check with my insurance
Dr Transtrum and staff performed a root canal on one really ticked off molar. After the procedure my Molar and I left as happy campers. The office and staff are just really nice people. No one wants a root canal however I will run back to Dr Transtrum if my dental health is at stake.
