Went for a root canal and a cavity and man, the Dentist and the hygienists were just the best. The front desk staff is so sweet too. Dr. A had a wonderful and caring manner about him and checked on me to see how I was doing as well as the hygienists (can't remember the names of the lovely ladies but they were so nice) Just an overall nice experience. Couldn't recommend them more. Definitely will be going back for treatments and standard care. So glad I found a nice Dentist office here in Springfield!

Price like everyone else has stated is ridiculous. First time being to a dentist and I was very pleased with everything they done. The hygienist (Haley) did an amazing job! I have very bad gag reflexes and I am a difficult patient but she was very patient and treated me well. The dentist did quick great work and they had me in and out. Their business model is garbage but their workers did a great job from my personal experience. Thanks a ton! I would recommend not working your employees so hard though. Don't wanna lose the great ones that you have at this location! The dentist and hygienist that I interacted with did an amazing job!

I was very excited to be going to a new Dentist and I was greatly disappointed. Let me clarify, I was not disappointed by the dentist, I didn't even make it that far. I work evening/overnights so I initially made my appointment online. They called me throughout the week saying I needed to verbally confirm my appointment or they would cancel it. So I called the automated line and went through the process of confirming. To which they called again and demanded I confirm my appointment. This call was early in the morning when I was still sleeping and I didn't have access to my insurance in that instant. The staff then threatened that they would cancel my appointment again and that I NEEDED to submit my insurance or they would charge me. Again it was early in the morning and I didn't have access to it in that moment. They again demanded that I call them again later. The person answering the phone was extremely unprofessional and rude the entire time so I decided to cancel my appointment and go with a different provider, I called the line again to let them know. When they initially answered they put me on hold but finally when they came back there was no "How can I help you?" or anything. She simply said "Hi". I confirmed I was there and It was an extremely awkward silence, eventually she said "What are you wanting?" and I replied explaining that "Hey I didn't appreciate how complicated this process has been or how unprofessional these calls have been so I would like to cancel my appointment". To which she replied "OK, bye". There was no confirmation to who I was, no concern at all, overall it was horrible service. Again extremely unprofessional and rude. I will not be returning or recommending this place EVER. Please get better staff who understand what "Customer Service" means, or even have the basic decency to treat patients kindly.

I needed a new dentist because my old one would say the bill was one thing then after the work and after I paid the bill, they would try to get more money from me. I was tired of being taken advantage of so I went to Aspen Dental to see if they were any better. The purpose of the visit was mostly to evaluate my teeth and to give me an estimate. My insurance covers a minimum of 50% of the cost. After visiting the dentist I sat down with the "financial person" to discuss payment options and to schedule my next appointments. She hands me a sheet of paper that said "Consult Summary". All this paper said was Total Treatment Plan Fee $1070.00, insurance covers at least 50% so my expected out of pocket cost is $502. ($82.50 was the deductible, despite the fact I have already met my deductible) It didn't say specifically what work was being done, I'm assuming this is for a single filling... because that was the only thing we discussed. There was no list of codes I could compare with my insurance and check the coverage. There was no individual break down of the cost. My bill could have just as easily been $502 without insurance. But because my insurance is paying half then how do I know they didn't just charge me double. My point is, what stops dentist offices from charging whatever amount they want? Absolutely nothing. Its not like the prices are listed for everyone to see. This is called extortion and they get away with it every day. I want a dentist office that when I walk in I can see a menu on the wall of all the costs, like a McDonalds. The price is the price, despite my age, race, sex or insurance type. That way I can compare one dentist to another and decide what's best for me. But go ahead and paste your generic message "We are sorry that the experience didn't live up to expectations. If you have any questions about the care plan you received, please don't hesitate to reach out to the team." Which just makes me dislike this place even more to be honest.

The staff are friendly enough for a pack of thieves. Was told emergency extraction is performed here so scheduled an appointment and drove 2 hours to pay $29 for a very detailed oral exam and some prescriptions for antibiotics and Tylenol. They do not want to extract the teeth which I was prepared to pay around $1000 for, they instead want almost $9000 for crowns and a root canal I did not request. They desire your money, not your well-being.

Clean and professional building and staff. Seamless transition between exams, X-rays and check out. Very polite and friendly staff and doctor. A lot of information about getting dentures and options given. Treatment plan could be broken down a little further considering they give you numerous options. I will return to that office and would recommend them to everyone if you need dental care.

I usually don’t leave bad reviews but this experience literally left me speechless. The dentist and the hygienist were so cold when speaking with me and would not explain the diagnoses or treatment suggestions to me even when I asked. The dentist was so condescending to me I have never been spoken to by a service provider like that in my life. The hygienist at one point wasn’t even looking when performing periodontal probing! Over diagnosing on some things and under diagnosing on others. So glad I got a second opinion. Literally go anywhere else. It’s not worth it.

I spend more time waiting than I do receiving service . I understand with this field many ppl have to wait but when my appointment is at 12 pm I shouldn’t be finally getting into the chair at 12:30+. I have explained multiple times their aweful hours are my work hours and with them being closed on weekends I have a one hour lunch break. I have taken several hours off work to provide them with ample time and they still make me late back to work. Get your scheduling together. Needless to say the cherry on top was when they “diagnosed” me with low gingivitis (which is the swelling of gums everyone has this especially smokers or nicotine users) and they expected me to pay $220 for a “gingivitis” deep clean when all I wanted was an annual clean. I stated I understand the deep clean would be best for my situation but explained I can’t spend that and I’d rather pay my $50 copay and get a regular clean. When the receptionist stated “I’ll have to ask if that’s permitted” I was surprised as last time I checked this was my mouth and I am the customer. My teeth are very clean and healthy and I have no cavities. The young woman was very snide towards me when I stated the ridiculousness that she had to ask. She stated she would call me back with the answer. Per usual they have not called me back at all. I have decided to stop coming to this facility due to the level of unprofessionalism. I would never refer anyone to aspen dental. I have attached a photo to represent how I take care of my teeth and how I should be a very easy customer.
