• "I went in because my crown had broken. I needed a new one so the dentist did the crown prep and scanned my mouth for the new crown. I was called a week later and told that something was wrong with the scan and I would have to come in again to have it redone. Then when the crown came in I went back to the office and as soon as the dentist put it in my mouth it was very clear that the crown was too tall. The dentist put it on and cemented it then started to grind it down, this went on for quite a while to the point where she actually asked me if I was closing my mouth correctly. She then decided to grind down the crown above the one she just put in. I finally told her that it was fine because I was afraid of her weakening the crown above. Now I have paid over $600 for a crown that does not fit right and makes my jaw hurt. I called the office and asked if there was one person in charge and the girl that answered the phone said that she was in charge, I told her the story and said I wanted to have it fixed, but not by the woman that did it. I was told that the dentist that did the crown was the only one there. She suggested I come in and the same dentist could look at it or I could call another Aspen Dental office to see if they would take me in and do something. All the person that answered the phone was interested in was defending the dentist. I don't want to go back to that dentist because I have no confidence that she won't make things worse, but I was told by another office that I would have to go back to Haverhill office, so I either pay even more to have it done right or chance her making it worse."
