My first visit to Aspen was amazing and they were very up-front and clear about what the costs of treatment would be, they worked with me as a non insured patient to figure out how I could afford to get my teeth worked on and I'm very happy with the cost and results. Everyone there is also very young, polite, and patient. it's a wonderful environment and makes going to the dentist much easier.
All staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The Dr I met was great.. now I wait to see how my bridge procedure works out.. stay tuned! 10/22/24 my bridge is shiny and gold lol I like it! Thanks to all doctors and staff!
I scheduled an appointment last summer (2023) for a cleaning and to check for cavities. The hygienist was very professional, and the dentist I saw was very thorough and polite and found 2 cavities. I met with the billing staff in office and prepaid for the two fillings and some other work and my next cleaning, and scheduled the filling appointment for that November. In Mid-November 2023 Aspen dental called me to let me know they needed to reschedule my appointment. That’s fine, things happen. But I called back THREE times and was on hold for at least 15 minutes each time and left a message to reschedule, but was not reached out to. Finally in January 2024 I tried again to reschedule and got an appointment set up in July. The July appointment: I saw the same hygienist. She is very professional, friendly, helpful, and explanatory. However, I did not see the same dentist, she did not do all of the work I had prepaid for, and I did not have the opportunity to ask her questions. Again, note that I had prepaid for the work done. This week I get a bill for $234 for the work I just had done AND the work I already paid for that WASNT done. So I call the billing number and it takes me to corporate. The gentleman with corporate was very helpful, but didn’t have the authority to change the items on the bill so he calls the Bismarck office. Nothing. They have not called me back either. In addition to all this, I got a fluoride treatment done that I had not previously consented to, and it isn’t covered by my insurance. I would like to be informed if A) you’re going to give me treatment, and B) if it’s covered by my insurance, and C) how much it costs without insurance. I can’t very well take fluoride off after it’s given to me. Overall, it is very difficult to schedule with them, something is majorly wrong with billing, and the actual dentists can be frustrating. Edit: I find this even more frustrating with how quickly I got in for my first visit and how lovely everyone. After my first visit I would’ve given Aspen Dental 5/5 stars. My other encounters have not at all lived up.
I scheduled an appointment 4 months in advance in June for October, to be called a week before my appointment to reschedule for March in the next year. If you have a job, or need to find childcare do not go here. Wasted a vacation day due to their poor planning. Already Pre paid as well for no services. Staff is always really nice, it’s just extremely frustrating when you’ve waited years to get a tooth fixed and finally have the opportunity just for it to be taken away when it’s so close.
I can never get in when needed. Once they get your money, their services are not geared to patient. Had an appt for today 9/9, had to reschedule for a cardiac appt for husband. I can’t get in now til Nov. My temporaries are horrible! They are crooked and non aligned. Going on a vacation and need them done prior. Was told I would get them in 6 months, it’s been past that time…..they don’t care. Would not recommend them, if I could get a refund I would go else where. Go somewhere where they keep their word, this office doesn’t !
I was very nerves & the staff made me fill very comfortable. Good thing. Looks like I'm going to make a few more visits. I feel I found a good place to have my dental work done.
All the personnel was professional as well as friendly and caring. The facility is very nice. My only criticism is the need for better ventilation for the lab. The fumes from denture pouring was overpowering.
I have a young niece who works nights, lives 50 miles from town, and does not have a car. She has a tooth bothering her, so she made an appointment at Aspen Dental last week. She asked me to bring her to the dentist, which I did. She sent me a confirmation from Aspen Dental on her phone, which gave me the time and date. I came from South Dakota and picked her up and drove her to her appointment. When we got inside she gave the receptionist her insurance card and a few seconds later a staff person came to the reception area and informed my niece that because they did not get a VERBAL confirmation, they canceled her appointment. My niece tried to tell them that she had responded to their email and text confirming her appointment, and they told her that they had called and she didn't respond, so they canceled her appointment. What a disappointment! What poor service! Not everyone can just jump in their car and drive 2 minutes to do business like go to the dentist. No consideration was given to any of that nor the fact that she was standing there with a confirmation from them in her hand, along with a toothache! So sad and frustrating.
