Dr. Jelena Simic is amazing. She is thorough and explains everything in detail. I felt comfortable, heard & understood everything with ease. She’s very easygoing and definitely seems like she enjoys her job and helping people with their dental care. I definitely recommend her to those seeking a knowledgeable and understanding dentist.

Wow, I was blown away with the customer service and the professionalism of Jelena Simic DDS and her receptionist. My two front teeth where previously chipped. She did an amazing job taking off the old appoxy and redoing my front teeth so they match the whitening. I would highly recommend her cosmetic approach to a beautiful smile. Thanks again.

This was my first time (with the exception of my appointment a month earlier to get a cleaning) at this dentist and I came in to get all of my wisdom teeth pulled. I showed up for my 8 am appointment a few minutes early and the receptionist says, "Oh I was wondering if you were going to come." I said "Um, I called and confirmed it like I was asked." I was unaware that I needed to come in early and take muscle relaxers (it takes an hour for them to kick in) so I took them as soon as I got there. As I was waiting in the waiting room for them to call my name, I saw the dentist storm in the office (late) wearing a jacket that says "Team Kemel". A few minutes later they call my name and we finally got started. He seemed like he was in a bad mood because I was expressing my fears about anesthetics and he says, "We didn't talk about putting you under. You have already done a couple things wrong. You didn't take your muscle relaxers so they won't have as much affect."We are going to numb your mouth but that is it." They way he said it was so rude! He started by putting Novocain in my mouth and then filled a cavity. Then he started with one wisdom tooth and would disappear for a while and come back to do another tooth, then disappear and did that throughout the whole thing. While he would disappear, the hygienist would stay and talk to me. I asked him if any of my teeth are giving him trouble coming out and he says, "Doesn't seem like they are giving me trouble?" Very sarcastic! By the time I left, the muscle relaxers started kicking in and I was pretty loopy. When I was done, they rushed me to the front desk where they threw me 3 prescriptions to get filled (pain pill, an anti-bacterial, and an inflammatory) and started explaining what they were. I was so out of it that I just asked them to stop explaining at write it down so I can look it at it when my mind is more clear. And I wasn't given anything to clean my mouth with like other people have gotten from other dentists and I wasn't given a guide of what to expect and how long healing time will be. And the cherry on top is when it came to payment. Before asking me what my insurance plan was or looking into my plan, the receptionist was trying to charge me 20% of what the procedure would cost (just under $300). I told her my plan covers everything 100%. I told her my union and she says, "Oh, yeah, they have great benefits. It's normally an 80-20 rule, meaning I pay 20% and teamsters pays 80%" So...before checking you were going to try and take my money?! Only go to this dentist if you want to be talked down to and treated like an inconvenience.

One of the nicest hygienists! Really great with kids! My only concern was that they did a filling and I'm not sure if it sealed correctly or what the issue is but all of a sudden I went from having normal teeth to an extremely sensitive tooth- so bad it literally hurts to eat on it/floss near it/ drink any water too warm or too cold.. I've never had teeth issues! I went in an explained to a dentist that I was having these- she said she would have to charge me if I decided I wanted to get a root canal (which I asked if that might be the right decision for the amount of pain my tooth was causing me) and said she likely won't be able to do anything for my tooth! I literally started bawling in the chair- and yes I was embarrassed- but my tooth was excruciating. Finally she relented and said she could take a deeper look- so I made my appt to get it fixed- the dental assistant was in my opinion extremely rude (as if I inconvenienced them) and now because of the filling I am not able to properly floss around that tooth- the crevice between my teeth in the area have been filled with the cement-- and yet to this day my tooth is still in excruciating pain- so I have made an appointment to go to another clinic to get it checked! This was kind of bologna- Im not a dentist- so I don't know how this stufff works but I've never had issues with my other dentist prior.. I wish he hadn't retired ?

Dr.Shenouda is a wonderful dentist! Very helpful and kind. I had a great experience with the hygienist, Laura as well. I would recommend them to all my family and friends.
