LONG BUT READ FULLY ⛔️ THESE PEOPLE HAVE SUCH LOW RATINGS FOR MORE THAN A SIMPLE REASON SO TAKE HEED. This is the MOST DISRESPECTFUL, uncaring, ghetto and all around disgusting dentist office. For starters I went there with a broken molar over a year and a half ago and the dentist decided to go ahead and work on what he felt like working on instead of removing the broken molar. I went in again and again he worked on what he felt like (Dr. Patel). He proceeded to insult me with indirect questions that had nothing to do with his job and what he was supposed to be doing. It reached a point where the molar he kept disregarding, became infected and the pain was unbearable so I call and explain the pain I’m in and what my mouth looked like. The desk lady sat there and told me I’d have to wait until August and this was 3 MONTHS AGO. I was so upset and asked how I was supposed to deal with this pain that long because honestly everyone knows that an infected tooth can cause more health issues. She said, “For an emergency visit you’ll have to pay.” But why in Gods name should I or would I pay for a service that my insurance not only covers but a service that should have been done long ago? She didn’t care and then said that if someone cancels she’ll call back. Apparently she never called even though anyone that’s been there, also knows they barely have anyone in there to begin with so there lies are first out overkill. People always cancel with them because quite frankly their location isn’t the best and the way their office looks, isn't very inviting. She waited until ONE FULL WEEK AFTER they found out that my insurance is no longer taken by them, to call and tell me that they found out August 1st but I didn’t get a call until August 8th. First she had the audacity to tell me to switch to health partners so basically I’m supposed to inconvenience myself in all other departments for a ghetto dentist? One in which I ONLY WENT to because of my disability so it’s not as far as some others. I said I wasn’t doing that and she barely let me finish speaking before she said, “Ok I’m dropping your Appt for Wednesday (sarcastically).” I said, “Are you serious right not?! You waited till AFTER the fact to let me know…..” She spoke over me again and again and then rudely hung up on me. If you care at all about your teeth and about how you’ll be treated ALWAYS then I suggest finding a reputable dentist. I don’t know who in these reviews said Dr. Patel even has a good reputation but I about died laughing. I’ll go add some photos when I head in that direction just to show you. Don’t just leave reviews people, REPORT THIS PLACE because there’s no way they are even passing inspections. This is long enough but I have a trail of horror stories which I been sharing with others. My plan was to go there this last time anyway but God knew this was a bad idea and I guess this was the only way.STAY AWAY!!!! JUST RUN TO A GOOD DENTIST WITH A GOOD RECEPTIONIST BECAUSE THIS WHOLE OFFICE IS PATHETIC. They only have one person who is super sweet and honestly I don’t even know if she still works there.
Omg he shaved my 2 front teeth down. Now my teeth are uneven. I like my ridges on my teeth. I didn't ask for them to be filed down. He needs to inform you exactly what is being done beforehand. I am totally upset. I can't get my length n ridges back. I'm not happy at all.
Dr Patel replaced my tooth with a half broken tooth. It broke up inside my gums and he tried to pull it out and it felt like he was pulling the whole side of my facial muscles. I had to stop him. Now I have been with this half of a tooth. And now afraid of going back to him to fix it and I don’t know of any other dentist that would touch it.?
Was that Aramingo Family Dental today. Needed a tooth extracted. Angie at the front desk remembered that I have a true fear of the dentist. She reminded the DA,s of this. I was being distracted as much as possible so I could relax.. Dr. Patel came in the room and saw I was shaking and started a conversation to help calm me. I told him as a dentist I didn't like him at all, but as a person he is very nice. I appreciate what they go through with me and keeping my fears at ease. I would recommend this dental office, pleasant people to work with you. My fear is real and they help me relax, even wiped away few tears for me. 5 STARS.
The actual dentistry has always been up to standard and Dr. Patel knows his stuff. Long time staff and experienced which means come prepared and be respectful. Complaints about front desk staff lack understanding and come from very interesting people to say the least. If you want fancy lights, waiting areas and someone to cater beyond the norm, then go somewhere that will charge you for all of that. This is a long-standing dentistry that is doing their best to service a changing neighborhood. Appreciate them and you will leave with happy teeth without breaking the bank.
