Dr. Baker and his crew are very professional and take great care of their patients. I was referred to this office by the VA for a root canal and they took care of me almost immediately. This has been the second time I been to this office and they have always treated me kindly and with respect. The work they do is outstanding.

I was referred to this office for dental work. I had an initial evaluation and waited 30 mins. I was scheduled to return for the procedure. I was told to arrive 15 mins early which I did. I waited another 40 mins in the waiting area before finally being called back. When I mentioned that I had waited for almost an hour, she told me the doctor is still running behind and offered to reschedule. I declined another appointment. If the doctor is running late, the least they could do would be to call patients and inform of the delay and offer to reschedule. I would have rescheduled instead of wasting my time waiting for as long as I did only to find out I would have to wait even longer. This was supposed to be an hour procedure but instead I had wasted an hour of my time. The clinic should understand patients’s time is just as important as the doctor’s. Highly disappointed.

The Apex Endo staff worked swiftly to help me receive the emergency treatment that immediately alleviated the excruciating pain caused by severe tooth infection. The treatment provided by Dr. Mortenson and Jacqie was truly a work of art and obvious skill and knowledge. They were thoughtful and very fast in completing the procedure. The technology was also impressive and obviously top notch. If you need any form of root canal therapy, Apex, Dr, Mortenson and Jacque provide exceptional care! I am extremely grateful for the quality of care I received recently. Thanks again Dr. Mortenson!

I went to Apex Endodontics on December 14, 2023 and had an appointment with doctor Nathan Baker. I waited until now to write this review to see how the work held up over a couple months. So far so good, but my experience with Dr Baker was horrible. I had a bridge done on my back molars about a year and a half before going to Apex Endodontics in December. Shortly after getting the bridge I started getting sensitivity and pain in the supporting molars. I went to two different dentists to have my bite adjusted multiple times, but it became clear that I would need a root canal in the molars to stop the sensitivity. I have dental anxiety and put off going to a specialist for a long time, but finally decided the pain was too much and got referred to a specialist. When I met with Dr Baker I explained my dental anxiety, that I was well familiar with dental pain and I knew the back molar needed a root canal for sure, due to how sensitive it was. He said he wanted to run a cold sensitivity test on the front molar to determine if it needed a root canal, and I consented. I had had these cold tests before and found them very painful, and had expressed such to Dr Baker. The front molar was highly sensitive, and we decided it needed a root canal as well. I had explained to Dr Baker that I had been living with the pain for about a year, and I knew my back molar was the worst of the two teeth (I had tested out cold sensitivity on my own). He insisted that he needed to perform the cold sensitivity test on my back molar. I told him I did not want to experience the pain it would cause, and that I knew it was more sensitive than the front molar. Dr Baker sat back in his chair and stated that he refused to do a root canal on my back molar if I would not allow him to do the cold sensitivity test. I should have left the office right then and there, but I had been avoiding the root canals for so long that I consented to his test. The pain in that back molar from the cold test was shocking and intense, and I immediately burst into tears. Dr Baker acted surprised and apologized, but I was left feeling hurt (physically from the tooth, emotionally from his lack of respect and insistence that I didn't know my own teeth well enough to know it needed a root canal). This is getting long-winded, and I apologize. But along with Dr Baker causing unnecessary pain I also found his bedside manner to be lacking. At one point he stated that I was drooling too much and then pinched both of my earlobes in a joking manner to try to "shut off" my salivary glands. If I had been an adult man, he would not have pulled such an unprofessional and silly stunt. He did comp me the nitrous oxide as an apology for causing me pain and distress, but I will never have work done by Dr Baker again. The root canals seem to have been done properly though, hence the two stars instead of one.

I've been to many endodontists in my lifetime and Apex has been the best so far. I've been to both locations. Just had an apicoectomy root-end surgery and Dr Mortenson did an excellent job. It was painless and everything was well explained. I'm tempted to show a pic of the sutures for Google, LoL, maybe not. I'll keep going here because they're great.
