⭐ 1/5 stars I strongly advise against visiting Dr. Moorehead's dental practice in Mesa. During my recent appointment, I experienced concerning safety issues and poor quality of care. The dentist injured me with a high-speed drill, causing cuts to both my outer lip and the inside of my mouth when she lost control of the instrument. Instead of apologizing or providing care for the injury, she blamed me for moving, though I remained still. The crown work I received was also problematic. It has been uncomfortably tight since placement, yet no adjustments were made despite my complaints. Additionally, I observed concerning lapses in hygiene protocols, with staff handling dental tools without proper protective equipment. I now need to find a new dentist to correct the poorly fitted crown at my own expense. After this experience, I researched online reviews and found others reporting similar issues with this practice. I'm sharing this to help others make an informed decision about their dental care. Save yourself time, money, and potential injury by seeking care elsewhere. Note to the practice: Professional dental work should never result in injury or require additional corrective procedures due to poor quality. Patient safety and proper sanitation should be top priorities.

Me and my husband have been going there for 20 years..Dr Moorehead is extremely professional and her staff is great. I highly recommend American Dental!

I was so pleased with the service from the assistant and the dentist. Please forgive me I am not great with names, but it’s only one female doctor that I’ve seen and one female assistant. The service was wonderful, the experience and customer service was what you should get from any place of business. I would recommend to anyone who needs any work done. She is going to explain and the assistant, I saw my teeth in 3D It’s was quite an experience to see that.. again super cool people, Go see them for your Dental needs. Charlene Freeman

I have been attending here for a few years. Dr. Moorhead has been an amazing dentist. She is super gentle when working on my teeth and I always leave satisfied and happy. The staff is friendly and flexible. I would highly recommend

American dental Center, is the most comforting dentist i have been to. The staff is wonderful and understanding. I have been going to Dr. Moorhead since i was about 7 years old, i am now 21. I just went in recently for my 6 month cleaning The dental assistant was very nice and caring. She treated me with such a pleasure. She knows what she's doing, and I felt very comfortable with her. Dr. Moorhead does exceptional work. When there is treatment to be done the girl in the front desk, does a great job at breaking down each procedure to where i can understand what will be going on. And not only are they open on weekdays but they are open on Saturdays! Which i think is great for families who can't make it on weekdays because of school. Overall this dentist office is very cozy and warm with a very friendly and caring staff. And a wonderful Doctor! I would not go anywhere else!!!
