I am a Senior Member of the Community and have had various Dentists over the years but I must truly say that Dr. Allan Segawa deserves 10 Stars for his excellent Dentistry Skills! Dr. Allan also has a great personality that puts you at ease when sitting in his Dental Chair as well as his attention to detail as he works to complete your procedure making sure that his work is perfect as can be!! I believe that true Professionals need to be recognized and honored!!!

This is the most honest trust-worthy dental practice I've seen in a long time. With no insurance coverage for myself and auntie, Dr Segawa's office was able to see us urgently together at a reasonable rate with most non-invasive method. It is a busy office with long time clients, so book your appointments ahead of time. Thank you Dr Segawa.

I’ve been going to Dr Allan Segawafor over 50...FIFTY!!?! 50 YEARS...Yup! When Dr. Allan and Dr. Donald Segawa started their practice in Waianae in the late sixties, early 70’s. My Mama had gotten an “assistant” position when Dr. Timon was working from that location. Mama was a quick learner and enjoyed all of her “dentists”. I even got hired as an “assistant” for a Saturday only Dentist, Dr. Kato. After I had a worked couple Saturday’s...I was feeling rather confident in my role as an assistant. An older man walked into our office. He was moaning and told me that his tooth really hurt. “Oh my”, I replied. “Could you please open your mouth so I could take a look, please?” The man told me to just “Pull that tooth OUT,” I moved a bit closer and this poor man then opened wide and I knew which tooth was bothering him immediately! IT WAS THE ONLY TOOTH THAT HE HAD! Now Dr. Allan Segawa has semi retired and his son...yikes....I’ve forgotten his son’s name!!! Ok should I use “Sonny-Boy”? Or J.R? Sonny-Boy has a great personality and is very much his father’s son. I had gotten a postcard reminding me it was time for ,y yearly checkup. Sonny-Boy was super friendly and eager to answer any questions I could think of. His cleaning technique was absolutely painless and efficient. “Young Dr. Segawa” learned well from his father and uncle.... I think I’m due for my annual checkup... I
