All About Dental

This office is something. I have so much to say. Not only do the hygienists seem to be afraid of their dentist, Dr. Iheoma, they do not speak to you. They do not explain anything. They do not explain your benefits and why your co-pays are what they are. I went to two scheduled appointments and the receptionist told me that I was not going to be seen because of insurance? Therefore, I took PTO work time and it was wasted. Extremely unprofessional. The office is eerie and slightly unkempt. Blinking ceiling lights and broken equipment. Dr. I does not explain thoroughly what she is going to do. Every appointment I have had there (about 5-6) were bad experiences. I am so disappointed that I wasted my insurance, time and money on this place. I will be happily moving to Dr. Jeffrey Glen.

Very unprofessional they keep saying my deep cleaning was denied an try to make me pay $600 I called my insurance they said it was approved so I booked another appointment an now they saying it was denied an I gotta pay $300 so I called my insurance again she said they never sent the paper over an the lady with the short cut hair have a disrespect mouth talking bout me to the other lady saying oh this the patient they was talking bout an I told her if yuh gunna talk bout me go to the back an say it im never coming back here again “CALL YOUR INSURANCE BEFORE PAYING “

I have nothing positive to say about this experience. I was going to the dentist office in Bala cyndwyd but got a call that the office had moved. I got there and the inside was dirty and every red flag was being raised in my head. I wish I had turned around and left. The dentist came in and looked at my X-rays for no longer than 3 seconds and hadn’t even looked in my mouth and then diagnosed me with gingivitis because he said he was seeing bone loss (I am 27 and have only ever been told that I have healthy teeth so this was very alarming). After looking in my mouth, he literally said “if you can just disregard what I said about the gingivitis” and then asked if I had braces and said that my images made sense for someone who had braces. I work in healthcare. I know that healthcare workers are people too and make mistakes but this was unreal. On top of this, the machines were not working that they needed to clean my teeth so they were going between manually doing it and focusing so much on the machine that they were tearing up my mouth. My gums on the left side of my mouth are so torn up from the cleaning that I have had significant pain while brushing my teeth on that side for 3 days now. My lips also kept getting caught in the cleaner and I kept pulling my head away and all the lady said was “does it hurt?” And kept going. This was a horrific experience. I don’t usually write reviews but I hope that this helps other people to stay far away from this place.

I had a tooth emergency and they were very accommodating with my emergency! The Dr is a little rough but he does an excellent work! My tooth feels like brand new! I scheduled a cleaning appointment as a follow up! Thank you! Gracias!

The dentist was nice and front staff was polite but that’s about all the good I can say. For my first appointment, insurance was not verified at all until I was in the office for at least an hour. Then I had to call insurance to arrange my DMO. After that I still had to wait another hour to see the dentist for a cleaning. Was told to make a follow up for a few fillings. Came back for the follow up. Waited another 30 mins to be told my insurance does not cover the type of filling they perform in the office and it would cost over $2k. A huge waste of my time that all could have been dealt with in a few phone calls.
