Dec 03, 2024 · Harvey Scott jr.Had a problem with a tooth and went to Affordable dental. We decided to have the tooth pulled rather than go thru a root canal. Took forever before I was given novacaine so the procedure could start. Once pulled I was asked about getting a bridge. Not knowing what was involved I advised them to see if my insurance would cover it and if approved I would discuss it with them and with my wife. They took that to mean I did not want the bridge despite the dental assistant having basically confirmed that I could make an appointment to discuss it with the dentist. I called back when I did not hear about the bridge application and was put on hold for almost 15 minutes before getting the answer that they did not believe I wanted the bridge. I have dealt with 5 dentists in my life and all 4 others were excellent. I have never received worse treatment in my life and would not go back there if they were the only dentist in the valley.
