Your customer service suck beyond measures. They sit and talk all day amongst each other about who did what last night while patients are standing there waiting, they have attitudes, and have no professionalism at all. Then, the call center is absolutely horrible. We have been waiting for 3 weeks for medications to be called in to the pharmacy. The pharmacy has been waiting as well. 3 weeks on blood pressure medication that clearly states do not stop taking without physicians concent. I'm definitely going to contact the medical board and let them know how it's being run in this location. New building old attitudes. I've been with my Dr for 14 yrs, and I love her. But the staff here is unacceptable. And please don't respond to this post with a robotic response. You're not going to appease me with some bogus Ai automated response. So, do better people. If you don't like your job, find another one. Because we patients deserve an amount of compassion and respect from the people dealing with our personal and pertinent concerns and information pertaining to our health needs.
Horrible experience, not just once, twice, thrice, but over a total amount of over 10 appointments, the service has been subpar at best. The customer service is awful, most attending over the phone are monotonous and do little when it comes to troubleshooting issues. Have had constant problems being treated seriously by my psychiatrists, and even more issues on getting prescriptions filled (even though I have had this medication history for over a year). They seem to have an issue keeping information, at the Mesa location I have had to complete a new patient form at least 5 times. The psychiatrists that they contract have awful bedside manner, and are totally inexperienced for the more complex cases of people suffering from mental illness. I'm frustrated and I have been more than kind and understanding. Take careful consideration before choosing Adelante Healthcare, unless it's your only option.
My 11 year old was released from impatient psychiatric, and booked a follow up appointment for her medication, and needing new ones after having an allergic reaction to the ones she was prescribed. The doctor no called no showed, after I waited for over an hour. After reaching back out, we were rescheduled for the following day. Perry Ochoa then cancelled 20 minutes prior AGAIN with no explanation and we are expected to make ANOTHER appointment. This is an absolute disgrace to healthcare.
The front office staff was great. The doctor I had, was not so great. Dr. Elizabeth Prevette was cold and borderline rude to me. Plus, I had an appointment on Sept 6th and she said she would do a referral for a physical therapist, it's September 25th and she still hasn't done it. And I have called multiple times and the referral specialists have left notes for her. And the rest of the appointment on Sept 6th was not very pleasant. I told her I had gallbladder surgery back in February and I was having some inflammation in the spot where I had my gallbladder removed. She then in a very rude way questioned why I had my gallbadder removed and when I told her why, she said "well it's too late now, your gallbladder is already gone". So she criticized me for having my gallbladder removed. Which wasn't useful. And plus a different doctor and surgeon agreed that surgery was the right thing to do. Despite telling her that I had inflammation in my stomach area, she didn't feel around my abdomen to see if there was pain from touching my stomach (like other doctors have). I also told her I was having right shoulder pain. She didn't do a mobility test or an arm strength test (which other doctors have done) to see what the issue might be. At the end of the appointment I was attempting to sum up what we talked about and ask about next steps and she simply said "ok, bye bye" and walked out while I was talking. I went to this appointment thinking it was going to be a family doctor appointment. What I got was more like an Urgent Care appointment with a doctor who didn't care about me and just wanted to move on to the next patient as soon as possible. She had no compassion or empathy for me at all. If you want to go to a family doctor, this is might not be your best option. And I personally will not be going back to see Dr. Elizabeth Prevette again.
Dr. Underwood is absolutely amazing and a wonderful pediatrician! He sits with parents during every visit and truly understands what babies need. I would 10/10 recommend him every time!
The providers are great but the customer service is garbage, including the receptionist they are always looking mad and looks like they just woke up and got straight to work. This clinic does not provide a good quality of care services. If you call to cancel or reschedule an appointment that will count as no show and they will put you in a walk in status. This is insane because when you call them is a call center. The appointments are never on time. It’s insane to show up on time and had to wait 1-2 hrs to be seen.
