Absolute Dental - Charleston

About 4 months ago I had a tooth that needed to be pulled. I didn't have an appointment and I just walked right in and after filling out the required paperwork they got me in and did a complete check up and went over all of the work that needed to get done along with the pricing. I'm in the final stage of getting my lower partial and complete upper denture. They keep informed of my appointments. Now that they went all digital it makes it easier to get seen without filling out paperwork.

My only complaint is the appointment. I didn't get called to the back for about a hr and a half after my appointment time. I went online and read the reviews, stupid me, and all the negativity and, the experience's talked about pertaining to the surgeon. Had me freaking out, and in my head big time. Once I got in the back I was greeted by 3 people one hooked me up to the monitors, then a person came and gave me a rundown of what was going to happen, looked at my vitals,(real nice) the surgeon came in looked at my films and did a little explaining and gave his nurse the game plan. I sat for about 20 minutes, surgeon came back in and touched my shoulder and told me it's rock n roll time and my I V was hooked up. After that I don't remember much. ?. The transport wheeled me to my driver, and off we went. Today I'm feeling good no pain, after 17 teeth pulled. Overall I'm happy with my experience.

Thanks to this surgeons incompetence, I can't go get my dentures because now I have to go to another surgeon to remove the ten teeth that this surgeon forgot to take out. I received multiple confirmation messages with different appointment times. The office staff told me I should have got a call to confirm but all I got was texts and emails. Then I asked her question about the wait and she said about 4 hours and that someone should have called me to confirm the appointment and tell me about the wait times But didn't. I was there for 5 hours and when I finally got to the back I had 4 staff members ask me about taking a scan which I had already done a month ago but no one could find it Even though all of there systems are supposedly connected. Then the surgeon finally talks to me and seemed to be knowledgeable and we agree on what teeth need to come out. I was just released and he left 10 teeth in my mouth that we agreed to pull so that i could go get a bottom denture !! I'm crying so much because I went through the worst day of my life and didn't even get out all the teeth I needed out. Obviously trying to do consults and surgeries in the same day with this many patients is messing with his mind if he missed 10 of my teeth! By far the worst surgical experience I've ever had. Even worse than my two previous brain surgeries! I would rather have my head cut open all over again! Don't go here!!!!! Please don't go here!!! I would also like to point out that they are only responding to positive reviews. They haven't responded or tried to correct or even just reach out to anyone who has left them a bad review. They really don't care about all of their patients, just the ones that accidently get a good experience.

Their medical staff are non stop. I don’t know how they do it. This office is extraordinarily busy partly because the surgical staff is so good at what they do. I had heard the oral surgeon was the best & he is. The one thing that is irritating is the wait time. The appointment makers schedule way too many surgeries in one day. As good as the doctor & his staff is does make up for the wait. These are some good hard working people.

I had my wisdom teeth removed. The facility was very clean. The doctors and staff were super nice and sweet. They had me in and out within an hour the day of my procedure.

I consider myself as walking though I have an appointment only when I called to check availability. I was immediately taken cared off by the receptionist. I came to have one tooth pulled & I was out in less than an hour. I would like to thank my dentist for easy handling the extraction. As I arrived home, no pain, no medication, was able to eat dinner.

The first thing noticed walking into Absolute Denial @ Charleston/Bruce was the clean waiting area and all the people waiting for service. The Staff at front were quick to understand my business there and register me into the que. Once the office opened @ 8am people started moving quickly as more arrived. My wait wasn't long, at no time felt crowded or uncomfortable. Staff kept me updated, helped get my paperwork correct and as needed. I had an insurance date mixup and the staff resolved this quickly and visit continued. Much Appreciated ! Once called back the tech informed me of the basic outline of what I could expect. Helping me relax and settle in comfortably. I was very delighted with doctors appearance and professionalism. He examined and then explained what and how long the procedure would take, left me feeling at ease, you see i was at Absolute Dental to have my teeth pulled for a denture, 19 I believe. After a brief wait the Dr. Returned made sure of my comfort and said let's begin. Shortly after I was being helped to a wheelchair and was told I was done. How smoothly I thought. Felt nothing during and subsequently after the whole visit. I was helped to my ride and continued home to heal .I gave Absolute Dental five stars because it truly was a five star experience start to finish. I thank Dr S. And his staff for such an uneventful experience and professional service. Thank You P.graham

-- I scheduled my anual appointment to have my teeth cleaned and checked for cavities. Lady dentist checked for cavities, then wanted $1,565.70 to clean my teeth. I DECLINED the service, because the price was CRAZY .... but she was really good at fixing cavities.
