I had brought my niece here for fillings to be done. She has had terrible past experiences with previous dentists. Dr. Sinha made her visit go very smooth and was able to make my niece very calm and comfortable. He took his time to explain every step of the procedure to her and everything that he used. So glad we had found a pediatric dentist that my niece finally likes!! would highly recommend Dr. Sinha and his practice.

My daughter had severe anxiety when it came to the dentist. Small World Dental came highly recommended from family and friends of mine. The office made her feel comfortable and welcomed. I cannot thank Dr.Sinha and his wonderful staff enough for changing my daughters outlook on the dentist!!!!

PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE AT ALL COSTS IF YOU DON’T WANT TO BE SCAMMED! This office knows very well how to take advantage of patients and their insurances to make money by not informing patients about performed dental procedures and costs! I was charged over a thousand dollars for my daughter’s fillings on baby teeth after going to a participated provider who “takes my insurance in full”. My daughter had two back to back appointments with Dr. Sinha. I precisely chose a participated provider from my insurance who accepts my insurance in full so I do not need to pay any extra charges besides my copayments, which are clearly stated on the insurance fee schedule. When I was making the appointment, I confirmed that the doctor takes my insurance in full with Janine at the front desk. I was very happy with the doctor and treatment that my daughter received so I have recommended Dr. Sinha’s office to many of my friends and wanted to write wonderful reviews about this office. A few weeks later, I received a huge bill. During my daughter’s procedure I was not made explicitly aware by anyone in the office that the dentist was using a type of a filling that is not covered through my dental plan. I was never given a choice to refuse the procedure in advance, given that I presumed that the fillings were going to be the ones that are covered by my insurance. When I addressed this to the dentist’s office they then reported to me that the dentist doesn’t conduct that type of fillings that my insurance covers. Prior to setting up my appointment, the dental representative never informed me ahead of time that fillings covered by my insurance were not an option. Furthermore, Janine stated they are a very busy office and do not have time to talk to patients. Therefore, there was a small note hanging somewhere in the office among other papers that stated that they did not do that type of fillings and insinuated that I should have been aware beforehand. In my defense, I think that statement was a bit unfair given that I was new to the office and I was trying to fill out forms, while reassuring my own daughter that the procedure was going to be okay. To my understanding, when procedures that require additional costs to the patient/payee are higher than the set co-payments it should be explicitly reported to the patient prior to the procedure. The latter point, the dentist and his staff never provided me with an estimate of the fillings. The doctor further stated that they discuss pre-treatment estimate only with private patients who do not have insurance and I should have known how my insurance works. How am I supposed to know their prices? If I had known that this was the case earlier, where fillings that are not covered by my insurance were only being offered and his treatment prices are much higher than average prices in other pediatric dental offices, then I would have gone to another participating dentist. I’ve tried handling the situation on my own with the office. The doctor has never returned my two phone calls. When I showed up the second time in the office, Janine was very rude and said that they have to charge me this money because the office has to make money somehow. She further threatened me with a collection agency that if I proceed any further trying to avoid their charges and go to court, I will definitely lose. Later, I’ve tried handling this situation with my insurance and they made the office agree to 20% discount. At the end, I still received a bill for the whole amount. I find that what would have been only a small charge of my insurance co-pay to become over 1000 dollars is absurd and outright ridiculous. I’ve never encountered a medical provider who conducted an uncovered procedure without my consent and I find what Dr. Sinha and his office representative were outright unprofessional.
